Wayne Mazzoni was a good high school athlete with wonderful parents and high school coaches, counselors, and administrators.  However, when it came to college recruiting, his support group either did not know what to do or have the time to help him individually.  He attended Gettysburg College and played football as a freshman and baseball the remaining three years.  He began his college coaching career in 1992 and quickly learned that the recruiting process is not much easier for college coaches.  Each college only has a few coaches recruiting and yet there are so many athletes all over the country.  In an effort to help make the process easier for both athletes and coaches, he wrote The Athletic Recruiting and Scholarship Guide (now in its third edition and still the only book of its kind written by a college coach. The book has been featured in US News and World Report, News 12, ABC News, Fox Good Day New York, Amazon.com, Westwood One Radio, WFAN Sports Radio and many other outlets around the nation.

The book expanded to an in-school presentation program, The Athletic Recruiting and Scholarship Seminar. The program has since been delivered at over 250 high schools, many schools making it an every year or every other year event for nearly 100,000 students, parents, coaches, athletic directors, guidance counselor, and principals.

Over the years Coach Mazzoni learned that the parents and athletes who attended his high school seminar still needed a lot of guidance through the process.  Thus he created an online recruiting course which allows athletes and parents to manage all the steps of the recruiting process on their own time, while getting help along the way.  The course has video, worksheets, links, and special features to help guide families in this most important issue.

The site is not a recruiting service (meaning, we do not market athletes to colleges), rather a way parents and athletes can learn about the process of recruiting and thus do all they can to put themselves in the best position possible.  To date, our books, videos, seminars, and courses have helped well over 100,000 learn about the process of athletic recruiting and reach their dreams of being a college athlete and getting an education.
